The streetlight sensors are designed specifically to utilize the existing streetlight pole for discrete, fast, and cost-efficient mounting and power feed.
As such it is almost always possible to find a suitable installation position that provides the necessary vantage point and field of view for the specific traffic detection scenario.

As designers of outdoor products for public infrastructure, we first and foremost consider a ruggedized design that ensures endurance and function. However, our Nordic heritage also demands that form and appearance of our sensors are discreet, clean, and clutter-free, with no visible antennas, or cable junction boxes, and that installation and maintenance are efficient.

HIVE Battery ​
NO DAYTIME POWER? – NO PROBLEM
In cases where ripple relay management of power feed to the lighting pole result in no daytime power, the HIVE+ Battery Pack is designed to mitigate this exact situation and provide uninterrupted operation 27/7/365 . The battery pack is integrated with its own AC/DC charger that charges the battery during nighttime. The battery is sized to provide more than 20 hours of autonomous sensor operation.
NEMA Power Tap ​​
To ease the installation onto existing assets, we also offer a NEMA power tap where power can be “tapped” from the existing NEMA sockets within WCC’s streetlight fleet.
